I have done research on Cultural policy; Diplomacy & armed conflict; Urban history and Life Science Collaboration. In the fall of 2021 I am Principal Investigator in the EU Project SOLH.
My research concerns policy analysis and rhetorical theory. Empirically, there are four fields of interest: Cultural policy; Diplomacy & armed conflict; Urban history; Life Science Collaboration.
In August 2022, I organised (together with Heiko Droste at the Institute of Urban History at Stockholm University) the Nordic conference "Städer i Norr", where a series of studies of Northern Cities were presented.
In the fall of 2021, I was Principal Investigator in the EU Project SOLH (Support Office for Life Science and Health), whose partners are the Innovation Office at Umeå University, Region Västerbotten, Umeå University Holding AB and Luleå University of Technology. The SOHL project is co-funded by the European Regional Development Fund, Region Västerbotten and Umeå municipality.
