Research Coordinator at Umeå School of Sports Sciences and the Floorball Research and Development Center.
I work as a Research Coordinator at the Umeå School of Sports Sciences and the Floorball Research and Development Centre (IKC). Within IKC, I work in close collaboration with the Swedish Floorball Federation as well as national and international research partners.
My research focuses on injury epidemiology, injury prevention, and health in sport, with a particular emphasis on floorball. I am the project leader of Elite Sports North, a project examining outcomes of dual careers among students who combine elite sport with academic studies. I also serve as Secretary of the Research Council at the Umeå School of Sports Sciences and as a Work Environment and Equal Opportunities Representative.
Educational background: Licensed physiotherapist with a Master’s degree in Physiotherapy and a Master’s degree in Public Health, as well as a PhD in Sports Medicine.
