My PhD thesis, entitled Logics and Politics of Professionalism: The case of university English language teachers in Vietnam (2017), is in Sociology of Education, exploring the dynamics between (university English) teacher professionalism, teacher knowledge, and higher education policies and practices.

I teach on Teacher Education programmes, and supervise postgraduate theses. I also teach Academic Writing on undergraduate programmes and at doctoral level.
Besides, I published Vietnamese translations of English literature as a professional hobby.
