The Unit of Police Work is part of the Faculty of Social Sciences and has the following responsibilities:
Undergraduate Education
The unit’s primary responsibility is to provide initial police education within the main field of study, Police Work.
Master’s and Doctoral Education
The unit is responsible for developing Police Work as a field of study at both master’s and doctoral levels.
Continuing Education
The unit provides continuing professional development for police officers and other professional groups.
Research
The Unit for Police Work conducts externally funded research to generate knowledge within the field of Police Work.
The unit is headed by a Director. The management team also includes a Deputy Director for Research, Directors of Studies, an Education Coordinator, and a Finance Coordinator.
