Välkomna till seminarium med Professor Cheryl Glazebrook, University of Manitoba, Winnipeg, Kanada. Seminariet ges på engelska.
Titel Autism and motor skills: What’s pointing got to do with it?
Dr. Glazebrook’s research program focuses on understanding the diversity of ways in which humans integrate sensory information to perform various motor skills, including reaching movements. She is particularly interested in understanding how autistic individuals perform multisensory-motor integration. To achieve this goal, Dr. Glazebrook uses a continuum of research approaches, from lab-based measures of movement performance and three-dimensional motion analysis that are designed to understand the non-conscious processing behind effective multisensory-motor integration, to community research that seeks to understand the experiences and perspectives of neurodiverse adults on how to effectively provide sensory feedback to help everyone learn a variety of motor skills.
