Our strategic climate and sustainability work

In the Vision for Umeå University, we have stated that one of the university's most important tasks is to meet the society's demands and expectations. We aim to contribute to a sustainable society and to achieve the goals set in Agenda 2030.

Based on the Higher Education Act of Sweden, the Swedish Environmental Management Ordinance, the Climate Framework for Swedish Higher Education Institutions, and Umeå University's Environmental Investigation, we have developed a framework that describes how the University should work to contribute to achieving the global sustainability goals. This page contains our policies, regulations and reports in the fields of environment, climate and sustainability work.
