Annual Celebration 2018

The 2018 Annual Celebration Ceremony took place on Saturday 20 October.

Ceremony

The ceremony in Aula Nordica at 17:00 included the conferment of 8 honorary doctors, the installation of 27 new professors and the presentation of 11 awards for scientific achievement.

Lectures

According to Umeå University traditions, new professors, honorary doctors and award recipients held a lecture on their research in the morning of the day of the ceremony.

Every lecture lasted for 20 minutes with a ten-minute break in between. Refreshments at 10:20.
