Our vision is that all research conducted within the Arctic and the North can be accounted for as Arctic research. In this perspective, arctic research at Umeå University is conducted within all faculties and within a vast variety of research areas. Some of these areas are climate, environment, culture, history, tourism, economy, health, law, sustainable societies and medicine.
The Arctic Centre has around 200 associated researchers who solely, or in part, conduct Arctic research. As an Associated Researcher at Arctic Centre, you will be able to:
