Nordea's Norrlandsstiftelse annually awards a scientific prize to a successful researcher at Umeå University. The prize is SEK 100,000 and is awarded to researchers who have made outstanding contributions to the promotion of scientific research and development within, above all, social science, legal science and data science research areas. Frederik Paulsen Arctic Academic Action Award (AAAA) 2024

Yearly Award: EUR 100,000
The Award aims to further the development of new ideas that could contribute materially to preventing, mitigating, adapting, and reversing the effects of climate change in the Arctic. The awardee will be funded 100,000 Euro to help facilitate the development of ideas and increase impact through outreach, engagement and communication. The recipient(s) will be announced at the Arctic Circle Assembly in October in Reykjavík, Iceland followed by a special reception. Read more
