Each subject at third-cycle studies has a general syllabus. Note that the amount of doctoral courses needed for a degree varies with different subjects.
PhD degree
A PhD degree consists of 240 ECTS. In order to qualify for the degree you need an approved PhD thesis of at least 120 ECTS and doctoral courses.
Licentiate degree
A Licentiate degree consists of 120 ECTS. In order to qualify for the degree you need an approved Licentiate thesis of at least 60 ECTS and doctoral courses.
