About the course

The course deals with planning for architects on a basic level. The course aims to provide knowledge about the official principles for the planning with elements that highlight both its visionary aspects as its interdisciplinarity. The course includes a discussion of the private and public spheres in the city. The emphasis is that the planning of communities, as well as architecture, is about relationships between different systems. Students are introduced to the parameters that affect a contexts character and development over time.
