About the course

Course deals with vision as information process with a focus on the computational challenges of artificial and biological visual system. Special emphasis is placed on specified problems that arise for general visual system and how artificial and biological visual system tries to solve them. In this course basic recording, perceptual organization, depth and categorization is covered.

Required Knowledge

90 credits in the subject area of cognitive science or equivalent. These 90 credits should include the following courses:
Logic and Formal Methods, 7.5 hp, Cognitive Psychology, 7.5, Programming in Python, 7.5 hp and Application
Programming, 7.5 credits, or equivalent. Proficiency in English equivalent to Swedish upper Secondary course English A. Where the language of instruction is Swedish, applicants must prove proficiency in Swedish to the level required for basic eligibility for higher studies.
