Required Knowledge

The course requires a minimum of 90 ECTS, including one of the following alternatives:
1.    12 ECTS mathematical statistics, a course on optimization in several variables or a course on partial differential equtions, and a basic course in computer programming
2.    75 ECTS economics including mathematical techniques, 15 ECTS statistics, and a basic course in computer programming

Selection

Students applying for courses within a double degree exchange agreement, within the departments own agreements will be given first priority. Then will - in turn - candidates within the departments own agreements, faculty agreements, central exchange agreements and other departmental agreements be selected. Applicants in some programs at Umeå University have guaranteed admission to this course. The number of places for a single course may therefore be limited.
