Software licenses

We hold licenses for and provide access to a range of digital tools that can be used in teaching, for example for content creation, analysis, and visualization.

  • Design and editing tools: Adobe Creative Cloud applications such as InDesign, Photoshop, and Illustrator. We also provide access to 3D printing, 3D scanning, and a large-format printer.
  • Microsoft 365: Available as standard on the computers in the lab, which can be used for teaching activities.
  • Research infrastructures: Through research infrastructures such as Huminfra, we provide access to resources for digital and experimental humanities.

If you would like to try any of these digital tools, please email ikt.humlab@umu.se. If there is software you would like to test, or software you have used and believe Humlab should make available, please contact Satish Strömberg or Jon Svensson.
