Off-campus access

As a student or employee you can access the library's electronic resources outside the university network. Here you find information about the different methods to connect to the resources.

Umu-id - log in each session

You use your Umu-id to access databases, journals and e-books. When logged in you can use the e-resources regardless of your location and you only need to log in once per session.

Log in for off-campus access

Trouble logging in?

If you have trouble logging in, it may be because you have saved your login information in the browser. If that is the case, add @ad.umu.se after your Umu-id.

Example:

Umu-id: abcd0009@ad.umu.se
Lösenord: XXXXXXXXX

Please contact Servicedesk if the problem persists.

Proxy address - log in if required

Use the library proxy address for easy access to articles and journals from searches on the internet, Cambro, Selma or a reference list.

To use the library proxy you add this before the url:
https://proxy.ub.umu.se/login?url=

Free resources does not require login.

Eduroam - wireless network that provides access from other campuses

Eduroam gives direct access to the library e-resources from most Swedish campuses and many research and education communities worldwide. When connected to Eduroam there is no need to log in.
