Off-campus access

As a student or employee you can access the library's electronic resources outside the university network. Here you find information about the different methods to connect to the resources.

Umu-id - log in each session

You use your Umu-id to access databases, journals and e-books. When logged in you can use the e-resources regardless of your location and you only need to log in once per session.

Trouble logging in?

If you have trouble logging in, it may be because you have saved your login information in the browser. If that is the case, add after your Umu-id.

Proxy address - log in if required

Use the library proxy address for easy access to articles and journals from searches on the internet, Cambro, Selma or a reference list.

To use the library proxy you add this before the web address:

Free resources does not require login.

Eduroam - wireless network that provides access from other campuses

Eduroam gives direct access to the library e-resources from most Swedish campuses and many research and education communities worldwide. When connected to Eduroam there is no need to log in.
