Research group CogLing UmU is a cluster of researchers who study language as an integrated cognitive phenomenon. Our research areas include lexical semantics, metaphor and metonymy, cognition and reading fiction, cognitive aspects in language development, and language teaching and learning.
We provide a local, national and international network for researchers and students with interests in Cognitive Linguistics, Applied Cognitive Linguistics, Cognitive Poetics, and Cognitive Approaches to Literature.
