Research network Queer Futures of AI is an interdisciplinary research collective interrogating artificial intelligence and data-driven practices from queer perspectives.
We understand artificial intelligence as a site where knowledge, power, and politics intersect, shaping embodiment, identities, and desires. Queer theory helps us to identify and challenge taken-for-granted assumptions, commercial logics, and harmful practices within the development and use of artificial intelligence, and to imagine alternatives.
Our work foregrounds relationality, situated knowledge, and collective authorship as both method and politics.
