One our ongoing research projects studies how quickly and effectively active restoration of tree communities drives recovery of plant and insect diversity, community compositions and food webs in tropical forests. We work in Uganda Wildlife Authority – Forests Absorbing Carbon dioxide Emissions (UWA-FACE) project area of Kibale National Park, Uganda.
Our second ongoing research project studies the African edible bush-cricket (Ruspolia differens), which is a highly valued edible insect species in East Africa. Our aim is to enhance the understanding of ecology and source populations of this species in East Africa.
