Assistant Professor of Management interested in paradox theory, organizational space, and new venture creation support systems.
I am an Assistant Professor of Management at Umeå School of Business and Economics. My research focuses on organizational paradoxes [How do organizations and their members deal with contradictory demands?] organization space [How does space affect interactions within organizations? How do interactions inform how spaces are configured?]. Currently, I am working on interactive spaces where individuals with diverse knowledge, background, and prior experience, interact and influence each other in the new venture creation process. In this project, I (along with my colleagues @USBE) am trying to understand, explain, and influence the effective organizing of support systems towards facilitating new venture creation.
My research has been published in academic journals such as the Academy of Management Review, Organization Studies, Research in the Sociology of Organizations.
