UCMR Day is our highlight of the year! It is the centre's annual gathering being a great arena for all members to learn about new research and mingle with collegues as passionate about microbial infection research as themselves. It takes place in mid January - Do not miss it!

Keep updated on UCMR yearly events

  • CONFERENCE. UCMR arranges an open conference every year, UCMR Day. It takes place at Umeå University campus in mid-January.

  • RETREAT. UCMR arranges a yearly lunch-to-lunch retreat for all PIs affiliated to the centre.

  • SYMPOSIUM. Together with MIMS, UCMR organises Umeå Infection Symposium in August every year.

  • SPONSORSHIP. UCMR supports microbial research conference initiatives at Umeå University. There is regularly a call for UCMR members to apply for funding.
