Information till studenter och medarbetare med anledning av covid-19 (Uppdaterad: 1 mars 2021)
The exploratory workshops aim to enhance stronger relations of reciprocity between researchers and educators/teachers of different disciplinary backgrounds (education, psychology, neuroscience) interested in the emerging field of educational neuroscience and to establish collaboration among those researchers/educators.
This aim is to be operationalized through four exploratory and thematically organized workshops with the intention to reciprocally share experiences and knowledge to produce common research problems of concern for educational practices. This exploratory approach is to our knowledge unique in the Swedish context as it aims to discuss issues of education and educational neurosciences across disciplinary borders and thus provide an increased understanding of what educational neuroscience can and cannot contribute with concerning education. This approach will have the potential to spark inter – and multidisciplinary research projects, which in the end, will be beneficial for educational research both in short- and long-term perspectives.
The workshops are organized around specific themes, see links below.
Workhop 1: evidence-based learning strategies/methods
The workshop discuss learning strategies/methods and their applicability in educational settings.
Workshop 2: Challenges in education
The workshop discuss what can be studied from cognitive and educational neuroscience perspectives.
Workshop 3: Indivdual differences
The third workshop will focus on individual differences and how to accommodate those in educational settings
Workshop 4: Research applications
The fourth workshop will focus on discussing research applications based on the previous workshops
