Information till medarbetare med anledning av covid-19 (Uppdaterad: 4 juni 2020)
Do you have a research problem to which a digital approach might be part of the solution? Are you curious to explore what can be done with free and easy-to-use software solutions? Would you like to learn more about topics like data visualization, artificial intelligence, and media archaeology?
What are digital technologies doing with our research? In what ways are algorithms and software challenging, changing, improving – or replacing – the knowledge production done by researchers? In what ways can new collaborations and conversations between humanists and technologists be forged, and how might such efforts sharpen and develop critical social research?
Every second Thursday morning we will ponder these questions and digest digital bytes for breakfast, with sandwiches and coffee served as a side dish. The simple idea behind Humlab's Tech Breakfast initiative is to create a collaborative space for practical, critical, and theoretical explorations of digital methods and digital technologies. Half of the breakfasts are pre-planned thematically, and half will allow scholars to gain hands-on support from the technical staff at Humlab.
Welcome to join us for breakfast!
