Sasha Roseneil is a professor of Sociology and Social Theory at Birkbeck Institute for Social Research, University of London. She has a special interest in how gender, sexuality, subjectivity and intimate life are changing, and in the role that social movements and collective action play in bringing about social, cultural and political change. Visiting Sweden and UCGS higher seminar November 25, her talk has the title: Together/Apart: Relationality, Autonomy and Knowing the Contemporary Intimate Subject.
