The project Sustainable Development for Indigenous Peoples – A Collaborative Sweden-Botswana research Infrastructure Project, was a Partner Driven Cooperation (PDC) project funded by the Swedish International Development Cooperation Agency (Sida) from 2011 to 2013.
Strenghten international Indigenous research
The project provided a unique opportunity to strengthen the international Indigenous research environment by financially supporting the collaboration between Vaartoe/Centre for Sami Research and the San Research Centre. The project activities have been aimed at improving Indigenous research through the sharing of knowledge, experiences and best practices, and investigating possibilities for future continued and deeper collaboration between the two research centers and their universities.
