BFA1 från Konsthögskolan vid Umeå universitet, presenterar utställningen Posed Perfect, som äger rum på två ställen i centrala Umeå.

Featuring works by: Johan Ahlkvist, Tea Eklund Berglöw, Klara Bergman Fröberg, Rakel Bergman Fröberg, August Bällgren Jakob Ekström, Madeleine Hansen, Charlotte Hedberg, Magnus Karlsson, Maral Mavizi, Gazi Mrah, Henrik Nygren, Jonatan Pihlgren, Hedda Hultman Sjöberg, Martin Wallén, Sofia Wettainen, Ardil Yalinkilic and Martin Åhlin.
The exhibition is the result of the workshop "The Art of Failure" held by Annika Larsson at the Umeå Art Academy during the spring 2017, in where we were looking into what it means to fail, to loose, to get lost, to forget, to get distracted, to find a limit, to refuse, or to disrupt the normative order of things.
Simultaniously happening at two locations in Umeå City center: one part in an empty retail space in the shopping mall UTOPIA and the other at the former space of the autonomous cultural center Verket, this exhibition also explores contexts for showing works, as well as the potential of temporary formations and collective self-organization.
In conjunction with the exhibition a small pamphlet will be release that will be further expanding on ideas around post/posed/paused perfect.
