You have been admitted. If you want to keep your place (seat), you do not have to reply to your offer.
If you do not want to keep your place you should decline your offer by logging in to 'My pages' on universityadmissions.se, and follow the instructions. You should click "I wish to decline this offer" next to the course or programme you want to decline.
If you see "Reserve" next to your course or programme in the Notification of selection results, this means that you've been placed on a waiting list for that course/programme.
Support for students with disabilities
If you are in need of special support due to disability, you should apply for that in good time before you start your studies. Find more information about support for studying with disabilities.
This course uses online course registration. You register by entering the Student Web (see instructions below). IMPORTANT! Registration must be made within the period 19 April 2024 and 29 April 2024.
It is very important that you register during these dates. If you have not registered before the deadline you may loose your seat on the course. After the registration window has closed vacant seats are offered to students on waiting lists.
The schedule will be available here and under "My Page" in the Student Web four (4) weeks before the course starts (requires Umu-Id and password). New changes in the schedule is marked with a red dot.
You will conduct studies both by yourself and as part of a group. You will complete your assignments, with assistance of the course coordinator, the literature, lectures, seminars and discussions with fellow students. Much within the course is created around the participants' activities where all students' previous experiences and questions are equally important.
Communication between students and teachers will take place mainly in the classrom and through the online learning platform. It is important to access the platform at the start of the course. The online course platform provides you with course information, additional literature and support in terms of resources and sometimes pre-recorded online lectures.

Online course platform You can access the online course platform with your Umu-Id one week before the course starts. You must log in before the 29 April 2024, 23.55 pm (CET). After that date it is no longer possible to access the platform without approval from the department.
Umu-id är ditt användarkonto. Det behöver du för att kunna registrera dig på utbildningen. När du är ny student får du automatiskt ett Umu-id, men du måste själv aktivera det för att det ska fungera.
Umu-id kommer du behöva när du ska: • registrera dig på kurser • lämna in tentor, uppgifter eller se dina resultat • kolla din studentmejl • skaffa Umu-kort • använda datorer i datorsalar och universitetets wifi.
När du är på något av våra campus kommer du behöva ett Umu-kort. Umu-kortet är personligt och fungerar som passerkort, kopieringskort och lånekort. Allt i ett. För att få tillgång till kortet måste du själv ansöka om det.

Sök det pedagogiska stöd du har rätt till på direkten. Då är det fixat när terminen börjar och du bara vill komma i gång med utbildningen.
Du kan få stöd om du till exempel har dyslexi, adhd eller nedsatt syn. Beroende på dina behov finns olika typer av stöd. Vanligt är att en får anteckningsstöd, längre skrivtid eller anpassning av sitt kursmaterial. Målet är helt enkelt att göra det lättare för dig att plugga på lika villkor.
Infocenter, möjligen de bästa vi har. De hjälper dig genom de första veckorna som ny student. Kanske behöver du hjälp med ditt Umu-id, att hitta rätt i lokalerna eller snabbt stämma av med en studievägledare? Och skulle de inte ha ett svar direkt, så vet de var och hur de vägleder dig vidare.
Infocenter håller till i Universum, huset mitt på Campus Umeå. Det är bara att du hör av dig om något krånglar.
