Human relationship to food, meals and health

This research domain includes studies of the human relationship to food, meals and health from various perspectives.

Currently, research is primarily focused on social functions linked to food, eating and meals. We are interested in questions regarding what regulates eating and meals from historic, cultural and social perspectives. Also, how meals create value and how food is used in establishing social identity.
