Each semester the department of mathematics and mathematical statistics gives a number of doctoral courses. These courses aim to give the PhD student a broad knowledge in the research subject and also more specific knowledge that is needed in certain research projects. Beyond the courses that are listed below, it is possible to sometimes (in consultation with the supervisor, the director of studies or the PhD student coordinator) read and be examinated on other courses.
