About the course

Why is one person so different from another? Why are some people outgoing and some shy? Why are some people careful and others careless? These and other questions about personality traits are at focus in Personality psychology. Personality psychology tries to explain people’s behavior from a broad perspective and studies the patterns of thoughts, feelings, and behavior that makes each person unique. The course covers a range of theoretical perspectives on Personality, and both historical and modern views of Personality psychology are introduced.
