About the course

The course covers selected, sophisticated methods for GIS analysis, but also advanced editing, geoprocessing and thematic mapping techniques. Automation of ArcGIS workflows, using the application ModelBuilder and scripting in the Python programming language, constitutes central course elements.

Univ: 120 ECTS, 60 ECTS of which in a major field of subject, including 15 ECTS in Geographical Information Systems (GIS).
Proficiency in English equivalent to Swedish upper secondary course English B/6

Selection

Students applying for courses within a double degree exchange agreement, within the departments own agreements will be given first priority. Then will - in turn - candidates within the departments own agreements, faculty agreements, central exchange agreements and other departmental agreements be selected.
