About the course

The course gives an overview of Sweden’s social geography. The course includes the country’s special features with regard to political geography as well as social geography. The population characteristics the settlement patterns and migration, and how this has changed over time are aspects of the social geography of Sweden. Other themes are the country’s political and administrative structures, influx of foreign ideas and values, and basic knowledge about gender equality.
