Support for researchers

Are you a researcher at the Faculty of Arts and Humanities? Humlab offers support for humanities research through services such as consultation, research data management, technical equipment, and access to digital tools. You can also find support through a range of research infrastructures.

Humlab as a meeting place

Part of Humlab’s role is to create opportunities for scholars in the humanities to engage with other academic disciplines and external partners. We do this by organizing and hosting conferences, workshops, and seminars, among other activities.

You can find all upcoming Humlab events in our Calendar.

Consultation and Research Data Management

All researchers work with data, and there are regulations governing how data should be managed securely and in compliance with relevant requirements. These regulations can be complex and difficult to navigate, which is why support is available. University-wide guides and resources can be found on this page.

If you are a humanities researcher or doctoral student and need assistance, guidance, or have specific questions, you are welcome to visit us at Humlab (located beneath the University Library) during our drop-in hours: every other week (even-numbered weeks), 1:00–3:00 p.m.

Humlab serves both as a sounding board and as an active collaborator during the development and implementation phases of research projects.

You can apply for access to Humlab’s facilities and environments here.
