Affiliation to Humlab

We have a group of researchers affiliated with Humlab and Humlab-X. These are an important part of the research environment at Humlab. For Humlab, affiliation is a way to more clearly link people outside the unit to our research activities.

Being affiliated is a mutual commitment and is based on volunteering. However, we wish that project managers and employees working with Humlab and its staff should become affiliated. Ph.D. students within the faculty's focus on Digital Humanities should also be part of our network and affiliated. Ph.D. students, faculty and staff at the Faculty of Humanities who wish to be more closely linked to Humlab are welcome as affiliates. In addition to these groups, it is possible for partners outside Umeå university to be linked to Humlab through affiliation.

Humlab wants the affiliates to be a resource in terms of time and commitment. Hopefully, both parties feel committed to each other. The affiliates are expected to act as representatives of Humlab, taking part in Humlab's meetings and events and developing activities related to Humlab.
