Visit Humlab (below the University Library) on Tuesday, even weeks, at 13–15.

Focus Areas

Our researchers and technical specialists develop new tools and methods within a wide range of projects. Research at Humlab is often carried out in collaboration with other actors both within and outside Umeå University.

Huminfra is a Swedish national infrastructure supporting digital and experimental research in the Humanities.



Swe-Clarin is aimed at researchers in the Humanities and Social Sciences who work with speech or text-based materials.



Infravis supports researchers in visualising data, by offering access to expertise and competence development at nine universities.
