By visiting the library, you also gain access to the library’s databases and journals.
Databases and journals
Region Västerbotten subscribes to databases and journals that you reach via the intranet Linda. If you need help using these resources, you are welcome to contact the Medical Library. You can gain access to databases and journals that the University subscribes to when you visit the library.
Courses, tutoring and search consultation
Do you need to excel your database search skills, keep up-to-date with new research findings, or improve your referencing? The library offers group courses and individual tutoring. We can also help you with search consultations such as systematic searches, literature reviews and mapping of research fields.
Welcome to contact the library to book a visit to your clinic at which the library can present services and resources, or discuss other library related topics. The purpose and content of the session can be customised to your needs.
Resource requests, interlibrary loans and ordering article copies
We welcome requests for purchases of new literature in your field. Books that we cannot purchase and articles from journals that we do not subscribe to, we can often order from other libraries, in the form of interlibrary loans. The fee for interlibrary loans are charged to the clinic.
