Cross-boundary learning in remote 1-9 Sami language education.

PhD project This doctoral project rests on the basic assumption that remote education is realisation of pedagogical practice, shaped by different interests and engagements, with the potential of cross-boundary learning.

The project aims at identifying and describing structures and objects on different levels of remote 1-9 Sami language education and analyse how they affect the boundary crossing potential for learning. The study also aims at contributing to the field of Educational studies by resting on central Indigenous philosophical principles within an Indigenous research paradigm.
