I am a teacher and researcher in political science. My main research interests lie in environmental politics and policy, with a focus on collaborative governance, conservation, and the rights of Indigenous peoples. My previous work includes studies of how power, influence, and agency is constructed and distributed in and through discourses of conservation and of Indigenous peoples. During the years 2018-2021, I was involved in an interdisciplinary collaborative project that used forests to explore ways to make anthropogenic climate change relevant and possible to act on in local contexts (Bring down the sky to the earth). I now run a project where I analyze the organization and implementation of collaborative arrangements for governance and management of protected areas on the Swedish side of Sápmi (Collaboration for conservation in Sápmi, 2020-2023).
