Research
My research focuses on sensorimotor control in sport-related situations among individuals with anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) injury. I am particularly interested in how cognitive-motor dual-tasking – when cognitive tasks are combined with motor tasks – affects performance and motor control. I work with test development and use 3D motion analysis to deepen the understanding of injury risk and the conditions for return to sport. The work is interdisciplinary, combining sports science, physiotherapy, biomechanics, statistics, and neurocognition.
