I have a broad range of research interests in information systems. These include: Use of "no-code" Artificial Intelligence (AI), AI management, and digital government studies.

I've published several articles in scientific journals (e.g., Safety Science and Business Horizons) and presented my research at international conferences. I have also served as track chair (International Conference on Theory and Practice of Electronic Governance), session chair (European Conference on Digital Government, Americas Conference on Information Systems), and associate editor (MISQ Executive special issue "The Rise of Low-Code/No-Code: Accelerating Digital Transformation", and European Conference on Information Systems).
I received a large part of my undergraduate education at Umeå University, with bachelor's degrees in philosophy and media and communication science. These became my main subjects in a master of education at Mid Sweden University.
After working as a teacher and web editor / strategist in the public sector, I began my doctoral studies in Information Systems at Mid Sweden University in 2014. In 2019, I defended my dissertation "The Relation Between Digital Technology and Values: Thinking Through Multiple Technologies". The dissertation won second place in the Swedish Information Systems Academy's (SISA) Börje Langefors Prize 2020.
In 2021-2022, I was affiliated with Umeå University as a postdoctoral researcher
In January 2023 I started my current positions an associate professor (Swe: universitetslektor) at the department of informatics. I am also affiliated with Mid Sweden University as a part-time researcher.
