My research lies in the intersections of teacher education, sociology of education, and applied linguistics.
My PhD thesis, Logics and Politics of Professionalism: The case of university English language teachers in Vietnam, 2017, Umeå University, Department of Language Studies and School of Education, explores the dynamics between teacher professionalism, teacher knowledge, and higher education policies and practices.
I have also conducted research on critical pedagogy, inclusive education, gender, and internationalisation.
