This spring everything is different but definitely not without a celebration of our graduation even if it will be in a different way.
We hope and believe that you during your time with us have acquired magnificent friends and astonishing peers. You have been trained by masters. If we have lived by our values you bring with you in your transition the freedom to explore and be critical, take responsibility in thought and action, be ready to collaborate and entrepreneurial to inspire and create. As such you are ready to become a leader in your chosen fields, face any challenge, and take the next opportunity that comes your way.

Here we present all the prizes and prize awarders that are normally handed out at the graduation ceremony. It is USBE prizes and prizes we have in collaboration with others.
It is the first time that the award is given and the purpose of the award is to stimulate and maintain students' interest in the area finance / financial economics with potential positive impact on regional skills provision. The funding of the award, which is given as a scholarship, has been made possible by USBEs collaboration with Siemens Financial Services.
This years winner are Lovisa Kjerstensson och Hanna Nygren, USBE.
The Research Institute for Sustainability and Ethics in Business (RiseB) announces an annual thesis prize to encourage business students to become interested in and immerse themselves in sustainability and business ethics. Thesis prize partner is Umeå Energi that have made the financing possible. This years winners are Jana Tigges and Djenane Liasse, Lund University.
The USBE Pedagogical Prize 2020 is awarded to Professor Giovanni Forchini, Department of Economics.
- USBE prioritises and works systematically with quality in our education. An important part of this is our talented teachers and it is really gratifying to get this noticed with the Pedagogical Prize says Dean of USBE, Sofia Lundberg.
USBE Scientific Award is awarded by the USBE Research Institute and the idea with the scientific awards is to celebrate scientific writing and distinguishes high-quality research in the field of Business Administration, Economics and Statistics. The recipients for 2020 are Medhanie Gaim, Sonal Yadav and Anita Lindmark.
Medhanie Gaim is the recipient of the 2020 USBE Scientific Award in Business Administration.
Sonal Yadav is the recipient of the 2020 USBE Scientific Award in Economics.
Anita Lindmark is the recipient of the 2020 USBE Scientific Award in Statistics.
