Konsthögskolan vid Umeå universitet öppnar 26 September utställningen "Macroscopic Stillness" med nya verk som presenterar tre studenter från masterprogrammet.
Vernissage fredag 25 Sep kl. 18.00. Utställningen kommer att visas till och med 16 Oktober, Galleriet Konsthögskolan, Östra Strandgatan 32, Umeå
The three artists Chiara Bugatti, Ludvig Helin and Jakob Westberg will present a range of works that share a similar field of interests through the use of different medias such as painting, sculpture and installation.
They focus on the idea of stillness as an impractical status, on all the imperceptible forces (as heat, gravity, streams, breath) that cause microscopic variations in the noiseless matter.
As a conclusion of the exhibition the artists invite the public to a special event in the gallery space. A "microscopic observation" will take place on Friday 16th of October; time will be announced.
