Register for the course You need to register for the course, which will be done by my department. For this course, you sign up for registration during an introduction meeting on Wednesday April 28 2023 at 09:00 in S305-flex.

Course start with introduction meeting If you are unable to attend the introduction session please notify me beforehand! If you cannot attend the introduction and have not notified us, you will not be registered and risk losing your place (seat). Please send a message to Nathaniel Street before May 05 2023 to be sure that you will be registered for the course even if you are unable to be present for the course start.
The course begins with registration and an introduction. We will cover the following topics:
How to perform sequencing data quality control
RNA-Seq analysis and co-expression network inference
Exploring gene function and integrating additional evidence types
About the Course The course involves group work and each member of the group is expected contribute equally. There are end of week assignments to be submitted in Canvas and group presentations on Friday 2 June 2023 in S305-flex. The presentations are assessed and therefore mandatory. There is no ’hall exam’.

Under din studietid har du gratis tillgång till hela Microsoft Office 365. I Office 365 ingår bland annat Teams, Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Whiteboard Forms, din studentmejl och en mängd andra tjänster. Allt för att underlätta studierna och ditt samarbete med andra studenter. För att få tillgång till Office behöver du först aktivera ditt Umu-id.
Infocenter hjälper dig med det du kan behöva för att ta dig genom de första veckorna som ny student. Här kan du till exempel få hjälp med ditt Umu-id, att hitta rätt i lokaler eller träffa en studievägledare. Och skulle de inte ha ett svar direkt, så vet de var och hur de vägleder dig vidare. Infocenter håller till i huset Universum, mitt på Campus Umeå.
