You need to be registered for the programme in the study documentation system to be able to follow the programme and to get your results recorded. Online registration for the first course, Systems of Crisis Management in Comparative Perspective, is open between August 24, 2020 and September 7, 2020. If you do not register, you risk losing your place.
To be able to sign in at the student website and register online, you need to have activated your Umu-id account.

Introduction
The programme starts with an introduction to the first course, Systems of Crisis Management in Comparative Perspective, and a general introduction to the programme and the Department. We present important information about the course, the programme and the studies. Please let us know in advance if you are not able to take part in the introduction, using the contact form. The Master's Programme in Crisis Management and Peacebuilding gives in-depth knowledge in organising and analysing societies marked by crisis, disasters and conflicts, as well as scientific methods for the social sciences. The Programme can be attended for one or two years and offers the possibility to include electives or internship.
During the first semester you will study Systems of Crisis Management in Comparative Perspective, 15 credits, and Qualitative and Quantitative Research Methods for the Social Sciences, 15 credits.

The learning platform Cambro is used as a means of communication and information channel for the programme and the separate courses. There you will find all you need, for example the schedule, instructions for seminars, a list of course participants, and notices from the teacher. This is also where you hand in your own work.
To be able to log into Cambro you need an activated user account (Umu-id).

I Office 365 ingår bland annat Teams, Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Whiteboard Forms, din studentmejl och en mängd andra tjänster. Allt för att underlätta studierna och ditt samarbete med andra studenter. För att få tillgång till Office behöver du först aktivera ditt Umu-id.
Infocenter hjälper dig med det du kan behöva för att ta dig genom de första veckorna som ny student. Här kan du till exempel få hjälp med ditt Umu-id, att hitta rätt i lokaler eller träffa en studievägledare. Och skulle de inte ha ett svar direkt, så vet de var och hur de vägleder dig vidare.
