My research interests concern socio-scientific issues, teachers’ professional development, and early years science education including didactic modelling for sustainable development. Many of the projects build on teacher-researcher collaborations and include both development and research. My teaching involves course work and supervision for graduate students, science didactics for teacher students, and supervision of degree projects. I am since 2013 Chair of the research committee in Umeå School of Education. I am member of the Swedish Research Council’s review panel, UVK-4, and in the editorial board of the journal Nordic Studies in Science Education.
