One-year / two-year Master's Degree in Food and Nutrition

At present, the Department of Food, Nutrition and Culinary science does not have any master's degree program, but you may study elective courses to build a one-year master's degree in the main fields Food and Nutrition or Restaurant and Culinary Arts, or a two-year master’s degree in the main field Food and Nutrition.

One-Year Master´s Degree, 60 ECTS

Credits, level, and main field of study 

· 30 credits at advanced level in the main field, of which at least 15 credits must be a thesis
· 30 credits in any field (including the main field), of which at least 15 credits must be at advanced level

Two- Year Master´s Degree, 120 ECTS

Credits, level, and main field of study 

· 60 credits at advanced level in the main field, of which at least 30 credits must be a thesis
· 60 credits in any field (including the main field), of which at least 30 credits must be at advanced level

To obtain a master's degree, the requirement is to also have a bachelor's or professional degree of at least 180 credits or an equivalent foreign degree. If your bachelor or professional degree is not in Food and Nutrition or Restaurant and Culinary Arts, we recommend that you contact our international coordinator for more information (see below).
