Research interests include vocational education, civic education, gender and norm awareness. I am also responsible for the advisory board for the vocational teacher education programme.
My research interests focus on vocational education and training, students’ civic education, issues related to core values, and teachers’ democratic work in schools, including gender perspectives on teaching and teachers’ norm awareness. I have a background as a teacher in both compulsory and upper secondary education and primarily teach prospective vocational teachers in the areas of didactics, special needs education, and equality, as well as pedagogical leadership and social relations. I am also responsible for the programme advisory board for the vocational teacher education programme at Umeå University.
