I am responsible for communication activities at Umeå marine Science Centre and within the research programme EcoChange. I am also editor in chief for the popular science magazine Havsutsikt, which focuses on marine research in Sweden, and one of the editors for the website havet.nu and the digital field guide Livet i havet.
I am a part of the editorial team Havsredaktionen, which is a collaboration between Umeå University, Stockholm University, Göteborg University and SLU, Swedish University for Agricultural Sciences. The work is performed within the Swedish Institute for the Marine Environment.
Almost thirty years of experience of communicating marine science has given me a broad competence within marine science. I am experienced in writing articles about science, and during recent years I have been entrusted by Stockholm University Baltic Sea Centre to compile popular science reports on the subjects eutrophication, the situation for the Baltic cod and toxic substances in the Baltic.
