Later part of the program

Later part of the program is an application format for those who interrupted and want to resume their studies and those who have studied the equivalent (part of) education at another university and want to change place of study to UMA. It is directed to students within' Sweden and therefor only available through the Swedish version of universityadmissions, antagning.se

If we have vacant study places, we accept students for semester two or later semesters of the Master's program. In order for you to be admitted to the later part of the program, you must:

  • have basic- and specific eligibility for the program
  • have completed at least 30 advanced-level education credits (corresponding to the first semester of the program) on previous programs/courses that are part of the program you are applying for or more if you want to be admitted to a later semester
  • hand in a complete application
  • see that any of the courses you are missing are starting during the semester you are applying for

In addition, you also have to send in work samples/portfolio that will help us in the assessment of your application.

How to apply

You apply to ”Later part of the Master’s programme”, semester 2 or higher via antagning.se. When you apply for the latter part, you who have qualifications from a university/college outside Sweden must always attach course plans of previous studies together with certificates of completed studies. You upload this to Antagning.se. Course plans from Swedish universities/universities do not need to be uploaded.

Portfolio/work samples are sent to this e-mail.

Instructions for how to submit your work samples and what they should contain can be found on this page: Portfolio.
