Doktorand i ekologiskt entreprenörskap och hållbara matsystem
My personal interest and the red thread through my current research is human relationship with places of habitation, and the importance of inner-transitions in beliefs, knowledge and values for ecological practice. With the growing experience in creating events and teaching, my other interest is to facilitate engaging learning for sustainability.
The aim of my doctoral project "Ecological embedding of the entrepreneur" is to explore how ecological entrepreneurs can nurture a more intimate physical, emotional and spiritual relationship with the land in the times when this relationship is increasingly lost in modern societies. The study focuses on neo-farmers; individuals with little or no previous experience of agriculture who adopted agrarian lifestyle and started a garden or farm as important part of their livelihood. This study contributes to the growing research on sustainable food systems by lifting the overlooked experiences and realities of neo-farmers. It also makes an important contribution to the discussion on the role of place in entrepreneurship processes by bringing in ecological aspects into this discussion.Fäll ihop
